A Selection of Recent Client Collaborations that Extend Across the Globe

We provide practical training from practicing experts to position clients for lasting success in their local environment.

Lincoln Center University (LCU) offers intensive arts management training in key areas such as strategic planning, artistic programming, design planning, operations, fundraising, branding, and organizational design.

In lieu of generic formulas for strategic improvement, we customize our program to address the specific issues each client faces in its cultural, geographic, financial, and programmatic environment. Over the course of several days at our New York campus, the client’s leadership team engages in a series of workshops, roundtable and panel discussions, and private coaching sessions with Lincoln Center executives. Participants also attend memorable performances in Lincoln Center’s halls, often shadowing members of our production and customer service staff.

Lincoln Center believes that the arts cultivate a unique skill set that is indispensable in the creative economy. Lincoln Center Education’s (LCE) inquiry-based approach heightens perception, ignites out-of-the-box thinking, and challenges preconceived notions.

The term Teaching Artist (TA) was born at Lincoln Center over 40 years ago. LCE’s Teaching Artist Training provides TAs with opportunities to hone their skills and deepen their experiences in such fundamental areas as lesson/workshop design, facilitation and environment, student engagement, inquiry-based instruction, reflection, and collaborations/partnerships.

LCE’s Teacher Training is at the core of Lincoln Center Education and its acclaimed practice. The program is currently offered to teachers in K-12 schools and educators at colleges and universities. Workshops are developed and taught by LCE staff and Teaching Artists and are held at host sites around the world. At each site, participants are immersed in an imaginative learning experience and use this experience as the basis for their own lesson planning.
